Hello 6th graders! In just a few short months you will officially be 7th graders. That means you need to start thinking about next year. If you attend Strauch, Garden Valley, or Woodlake Elementary I have probably already visited your school. This page is to help you learn more about Rio Tierra Jr. High, learn about each elective, and explore the electives you are interested in. When you are ready-click on the google form at the bottom of the page to give us your elective choices.

HONORS ENGLISH

Do you have an A or a B in English (also called Language Arts)? Is it your favorite subject? Do you like writing essays, stories, & poems? Do you enjoy reading? If you answered yes consider taking Honors English. You can mark on the form that you are interested.

What school am I enrolled in?

If you did not receive a letter from your current school letting you know which school you were automatically enrolled in you can click HERE to search for your home school for next year-remember to look for schools that have MS (for middle school) at the end of the name. If you are currently attending a Twin Rivers elementary school you do NOT need to enroll, we have already done that for you. If Rio Tierra isn't your home school-look below to learn more about how you can transfer.

Want to Transfer to Rio Tierra?

If you live in the Twin Rivers district and Rio Tierra is not your home school but you are interested in being a Pioneer for the 2025-2026 school year, no worries! With parent permission, you can click HERE to fill out an interdistrict transfer (actually your parent/guardian has to do the paper work). You have until MARCH 14th. To learn more about the open enrollment process please visit the Twin Rivers USD website. Hurry! The dealine for transfers is MARCH 14th!
